About the studio

This year’s line celebrates leather! There is something so comfortable and natural about this material that makes it a perfect pairing with the stones and metals we already love. These wonderful qualities have inspired us to create pieces you’ll feel great wearing. Our line of men’s bracelets nod towards vintage with a timeless appeal while the ladies jewelry has a casual versatility that is perfect for those who love an eclectic style.

Behind The Work

“Understanding jewelry and accessories become part of your personal brand, I strive to make pieces that you reach for over and over again.”

For as long as I can remember I’ve always been fascinated with adornment. Drawn to the jewelry box on my mother’s dresser and on the hands and necks of the women in my youth, soaking in the Egyptian wing of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, or the thrill of spotting a pile of vintage jewelry at an antique market, I love “the bling”. The foray into jewelry design was initially a creative project of distraction, a way to harness the energy of frustration during a difficult time in my life and turn it into something beautiful. I learned and experimented and draped myself in layers of beads and amulets and chains and cuffs, pulling power from their beauty and the act of their creation. In time I knew I wanted to share this with others. I opened shop and worked to find my voice. Inspired by travel, culture, ancient symbols and indigenous relics, I am constantly exploring and developing new visions to bring to my work.

These days I am inspired by tribal jewelry and adornments from around the world, steeped in lore and cultural storytelling. I strive to incorporate those shapes and vibe into my work, including the bold designs, the feeling of empowerment they give to the wearer, and the reminder of how our future is intimately tied to our relationship with the past.
